Listening to Richard on podcasts, this is my issue with his solution to these problems

Basically Richard went woke, saw stats that contradicted his view and doubled down and wants to increase the woke umbrella to include men now,we don't need men to cry and ask for assistance like women do,we need the youth of both genders to work hard, take risks and try achieve greatness, they are in the best geography and best timeline to do that.Pushing the agentic the system is rigged message my do more dmg than actual progress

I'm a glass half full however I'm not happy just to get drips in the bottom of the glass for our men and boys to virtue signall and give lip service so when called out they can say .." oh yes but we mentioned that" mentioning and doing nothing is not glass half full . However I appreciate what you are trying to say and believe GOOD men and women need to unite against the false feminist narrative and deception

Three drops of water in a glass doesn’t make it half full.

say I as an old woman, and once fierce feminist.....how the hearts and souls of men and boys -- have over millennia have been betrayed, as we have, by the (understandable basic primate priorities for survival thus power and control?) the more dehumanized priorities of embedded patriarchy's aims to be able to 'stay on top'. Of course we women have needed to be heard and seen and yes, acknowledged, and having succeeeded somewhat over centuries - though still a threat to 'privileged white right-wing men to be sure men and boys have and are taking short shrift -- and it is FOR US ALL -- to understand and acknowledge each other with no blame but just more of recognizing, whatever the gender which is blending these days -- we're all in the same boat and the qualities of love and caring-- or their lack -- which cannot be quantified -- ARE WHAT COUNTS COUNT, MORE THAN ANYTHING! ! Here's to you Richard Reeves and, to whitedudesforHarris.com..here's to supporting men to be not scared of their vulnerability or of women who, for sure, know this turf, very well. ☯️💞🌎🇬🇧!

"embedded patriarchy"? if there was a patriarchy, women would fight wars and men would be exempt. If there was a patriarchy, there would be far more funding for prostate cancer than breast cancer. Of course, precisely the opposite is true in both cases - which suggests we are in a matriarchy, not a patriarchy.

"privileged right wing men"? Men account for 80% of suicides. Privileged demographics don't off themselves in disproportionate numbers. And, the fact that women are exempt from military draft registration and conscription means that women across the political spectrum are the privileged ones.

"white dudes for Harris"? The feminists that are embedded in the Democratic Party - which of course includes Harris - haven't lifted a finger to help men in 30 years. They fund women's health and ignore men's health. They lobby for abortion rights for women, and ignore the fact that men never have had the right to refuse parenthood.

On your next visit to the emergency room, the person that sits next to you in the waiting room may be an illegal alien with tuberculosis. Harris (and Biden) pay the medical bills of the illegals, but will not pay yours. And, you may have lots more medical bills if you contract tuberculosis from the illegal. You can thank Biden and Harris for the fact that millions of illegal aliens have entered the country since January 2021.

I will take a win when I see the money flowing equally for both males and females. Talk is cheap. And their talk is filled with lies. Maybe take a win when they admit to their lies. Lies like this: https://menaregood.substack.com/p/feminist-lies-the-old-and-the-new

Thanks so much again Tom. Take a look at male suicide here in Australia 🇦🇺 This year over 50 men a week .. around 80 % more than women passed due to life pressures and situational distress. So if depression so low in men then why? For the last 2 years and again this year we laid over 2500 boots as a visual display of those lost each year and all we ask is for a minister for men to look into this phenomenon and listen to our men. We were ignored by legacy media and major politicians.. could say more .. can you imagine if this was women ?

As man an Father of a boy, I'm worried a lot because all the Ìndex parameyer you showed are in favour of women and girls, nobody nowadays are speaking about problems and discrimination boys are facing. 5 year less of life expectation for boys and men are a big problem seen that life is the most important thing for a human. I do not see any improvement on boys issue. It is time to call feminism for what It is. Feminism is an international criminal organization. Feminists are criminal.

Feminists aren’t the ones enticing boys and young men to spend hours each day video gaming instead of doing the work so many of us did to improve ourselves and be successful.

Feminists are the ones that get funding for women's health, but ignore men's health. Think about that at your next annual physical.

The question is, where can boys find a safe place to just be boys. The last vestige of male space is video games and now we see people attacking that. Boys are blamed and villainized for being male. What do people expect when you treat a birth group in such a horrible manner?

> be successful

Why would a young man improve himself & be successful when that doesn't provide him with domestic tranquility & security?

The article specifically points out the good news that people ARE nowadays speaking about the problems boys and men face, but you don't want to let that get in the way of your "feminists are criminal" rant.

People should have spoken about boys problems more than 30 years ago, not nowadays. It is feminism fault, for sure.

Acknowledging the problem is a win and a good first step. But our response will be tepid in a zero-sum context. Any talk of promoting the welfare of boys and men will be looked at suspiciously. Women have required a century to gain status as autonomous individuals with a vote, a voice, and access to capital in the US. Less than 50 years ago a women could not get credit in her own name. And with the current climate of reproductive rights, women are rightly apprehensive. But in the same half century, de-industrialization has been devastating to men. With the abandonment of industrial arts training in schools, boys and men have been hung out to dry. So the context (and the language) needs to change to one of mutual flourishing.

I think you need to keep the pressure on. It’s how any identity group moves forward. I also think people fail to understand that by not resolving this issue peacefully, it will be resolved with force. It is part and partial to the reason authoritarianism is on the rise. If the social contract is unbalanced to a point that violence becomes a valid option. Those willing and able will execute that option. As much as society has tried to deconstruct hard power in the world, its threat and use never goes away. The only thing holding back a handmaids tale is not human rights or an inherent moral good. It is the acceptance and respect of a social construct that could be ended at any moment. Contrary to the Constitution your rights are not inalienable or fundamental. They are granted by the mutual acceptance that it is all of our interests to have them, because the system that supports them does the most good for the “most” people.
